Dennis P.
Egan is Director of Public Relations for Cook Hill
Girard. He is a recognized leader and business
advocate. Egan brings a wide range of experiences to
our clients including organizational management, public
relations, government affairs/issues management and
grassroots development. Egan has been instrumental in
the formation of both legislation and community
outreach in the areas of telecommunications,
transportation, energy, agriculture, tort reform,
healthcare, higher education and general business
concerns.
Prior to joining Cook Hill Girard Associates, Egan played a key role in the successful election of Senator Norm Coleman as co-director of coalitions and was President of two progressive Chambers of Commerce. Egan is widely known and recognized for developing and managing effective coalitions and relationships with key stakeholders.
Egan served as Chairman of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Executive Board of Directors; served on the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, along with Chairman of the Southeastern Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Executives. Egan has also been active in the Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce Executive lobbying group. Egan completed the United States Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management four-year program, the Blandin Community Leadership program and the Minnesota Chamber Leadership program.
Egan is currently President of the Minnesota Paint Horse Association, taskforce member on the Animal Husbandry working group and serves as a member on the Equine Committee of the Minnesota Farm Bureau.
